It was sad,because most of the people did not get to go to America. They could not go anyway because the were poor. They also ate bad food when they were in the bottom of the boat and they had to take 1st classes trash cans to eat.

I think it is pretty sad because people had to wait for weeks to get to america and it is pretty sad because kids and babies had to wait for food and milk.

I felt sorry for all the people that had to ride in the bottom of the boat because they had not very much money. Also they didn't get treated when they got diseases from all the bacteria that was spread down there.

I thought it was funny that this girl bought her mom a pair of high heels and that her mom couldn't walk in them and that they were going to send her back but then they tested her with no shoes on and there was nothing wrong with her it was just with the heels on. But it was sad that if there was something wrong with them then they would send her back and it might cause the whole family to go back.

I thought it was sad because many families had to be separated and how the children and parents got treated. Also it was sad to see that many families had to be in separate rooms from eachother.

The two pictures i pick was numbers one and seven because they where so sad and i would not want to be so crowded and when the girl was crying.

I don't like how they treated the people in 3rd class
because those people were crammed in the bottom of the ship were it was cold,dark,smelly,and you didn't
know were you were sitting at because it was so dark!

The seventh picture was a little girl crying. She looked like she had been waiting for days or is sad of leaving her country. The second picture looks like a happy moment.It is a family coming to America.

In picture #4, a man is picking plants and putting them in a box attached to his belt loop with a rope. In picture #6, a woman from India is wearing a pretty dress and is dancing. this looks like some sort of advertisement. Both of these pictures made me feel like I am very lucky to be an American and made me think that people in different countries do things different that we do. : )

The 1st picture, looks like they are tired of waiting. Also they look like they are crammed, and they're ready to get out. In picture number 7 the little girl is sad and ready to go. Also it looks like she's frustrated, and tired.

I thought that picture # 5 and especially # 7 on the power point was sad.I THOUGHT #7 WAS SAD BECAUSE IT SHOWED A GIRL CRYING.I think that she was crying for her parents. : ( I HOPE THAT THEY R OK ! ! ! ! !

In picture 1 it was very sad in 3rd class were they had to sit there on the ground, have no good food and there was a bad smell. In picture 7 were that girl with the black hair and pink sweater like was very sad also. I am glad that I can take a plane instead of that boat. Another thing is I am glad that I am a American and that America gave us freedom.

In the first picture I saw lot's and lot's of immigrants' all squished together on the boat and i felt really really bad because it was so cramped on the boat that some of the children had to sit on the parents lap, in the second picture i see lot's immigrants' caring a little variety of things that they brought and i feel really bad because they can only bring so little of there things so that there was enough room on the boat.

i think that the one of the girl dancing it was neat because she had grew and she became a dancer and it was also neat to see that she was happy and the one of the little girl cry it was sad and it look like she was scared and also she wanted her father and also when you think about it it is not funny at all and that is horrible if people think it is they are heartless i think that people back then where mostly said on the ship and in the building and once they got out they where happy and i would be 2 if i was them this is my blog.

the building is on the ocean side and you can eat on the back deck and see the ocean. our food is the best.
